Recycling Plastic, Glass and Paper

Where are some places in Saskatoon where you can recycle?  If you have clothing, toys, and household items you are not using anymore, where can you take them?  Perhaps a thrift store!  How many are there in Saskatoon?  If you have an appliance you no longer use, what can you do with a used appliance?  Do you know where the used appliance re-sale stores are in Saskatoon?  Do you know where the metal recycling places are?  Do you know you can post on KIJIJI and Craig’s List for free?  There are people who would love  your old fence to use as firewood!  Just post for a pick up of your items.  Comment with as many verious ways to recycle as you can think of.

Saturday April 18 marks the last week-end before the 50th Anniversary Earth Day celebration April 22, 2020! This year’s Earth Day 2020 theme is Climate Action, which will be explored during Earth Month.

Guess what?  There will be a community cleanup of George Genereux Urban Regional Park coming up!  What an opportunity to protect the environment in an urban regional park for users and for the semi-wilderness  habitat!
