What you will be doing Get outside in your own backyard or local green space and see how many different species of plants, animals and insects you can find. Download the iNaturalist app to your smartphone or sign-up online. Head outdoors and take photos of all the different species you can spot. Upload your images to the app or online, use their identifying software to help identify what you see, and add your submission to the global network of species observations. Please note Participation in this event requires that you observe the direction of provincial health authorities. Stay 2 meters away from others, wear a face covering while in public spaces and wash your hands frequently.
